People Who Care...

Dewona Bridges , BS,  is Executive Director of Scholar Works Enterprises of GA, Inc.   Mrs. Bridges holds a degree in Business Administration from Colorado State  University. Ms. Bridges has worked with GA Public School Systems for over 15 years in various settings.  Mrs. Bridges lives in Clayton County Georgia where she serves as a youth motivator to children and young adults living in the Greater Atlanta communities, and surrounding counties.

Avis Williams, BSEH, MSPH is the Board Chair for Scholar Works Enterprises of GA.  Ms. Williams is a native Atlantan and a product of the Atlanta Public School System graduating from D. M. Therrell High School.  She has worked in research and development for several leading pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology companies and contract research organizations, and currenly owns her own business.  Her passions for seeing young people succeed in school,  become more aware of Careers in Science and Technology (STEM) , and developing entrepreneural thought processes and skill sets has allowed her to help Scholar Works impact the lives of many of the students who have matriculated through our programs.  Ms. Williams is a graduate of the Univerisity of GA.

  
Tangela Robinson , BBA is the  Board Co-Chair for  Scholar Works Enterprises of Georgia, Inc.  Ms. Robinson is a native Atlantan and a product of the Atlanta Public School System graduating from D. M. Therrell High School. She continued her education at the University of Georgia where she obtained a B.B.A. in Finance. After receiving her degree she was employed with several Fortune 500 companies such as Norell, Georgia Pacific, MCI, MCI Worldcom, and Coca-Cola. Faced with health challenges Tangela could no longer work in the high paced field of Finance. Tangela enrolled in school at Chattahoochee Technical College and received an Associates' Degree in Computer Networking with a concentration in Cisco Networking.  Tangela loves children being a mother of two. She is a very active PTSA parent. Tangela is a great mother, community leader, teacher, and motivator.

 

Ivette Lindsay is a Team Member for Scholar Works Enterprises of GA, Inc.  She has worked with Scholar Works Enterprises of GA, Inc. for over 5 years.  Ms. Lindsay currently attended Georgia State Univeristy, and is head of Scholar Works community research efforts to reach out to students, schools, and parents. 

 

Richard Postell, BA, MS is a Team Member for Scholar Works Enterprises of GA, Inc. Mr. Postell is  an educator within the Clayton County School System.  Mr. Postell is a graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA and has worked with youth of all ages for over 10 years.

 

Cassandra Bolding, BA is an Advisory Committee Board Member.  She is a High School Counselor within the Atlanta Public School System.  Mrs. Bolding is a graduate of Georgia State University and has worked with high school youth for over 5 years.

 

Marvin Hall, BA is an Advisory Committee Board Member.  He has worked in Student Financial Aid for serveral Universities and Educational Organizations. Marvin has a passion for helping students learn how to avoid/reduce debt when planning and paying for a post-secondary education. Mr. Hall is a graduate of Fort Valley College.

 

Ariana Richardson is an Advisory Committee Board Member and Topics Researcher/Blogger for Scholar Works Enterprises of GA.   Her passion for the educational success of youth has helped Scholar Works postively impact the lives of many of the students who have matriculated through our programs.  Ms. Richardson is a graduate of Emory University.

 

William Goodwin is an Advisory Committee Board Member.  Mr. Goodwin is a former NFL player with the New York Giants and serves a health conscience expert for Scholar Works Enterprises of GA.  He has a passion for seeing youth excel and succeed in school.  Mr. Goodwin is a graduate of Fort Valley College.
