Student Financial Aid Workshop – 1/20/07 - 4pm – 6pm
Location: South West Regional Library at 3665 Cascade Rd, Atlanta, GA30311. We will assist students and parents in completing financial aid and scholarship applications.
Declaring a Major and Deciding on a Career Path workshop - 2/24 /07 – 10:00 – 11:15am
Location: South West Regional Library at 3665 Cascade Rd., Atlanta, GA 30311. We will assess interests and goals and conduct career path analyses during this workshop.
Youth Biz Business Plan Camp and Competition (Middle School students) – Every Saturday (3/3/07 – 3/31/07) 10:00 – 11:30 AM
An exciting and educational entrepreneurship camp allowing students the opportunity to use their imagination, creativity, and classroom knowledge to effectively communicate and present their money making ideas. Students will be encouraged to utilize proper grammar, arithmetic, and writing skills in order to successfully compete in a fun filled business plan competition that they will be expected to participate in at the end of the camp.
College Prep Week – 4/2/07 – 4/7/07
We will have a vast array of events for high school and middle school students to attend: Middle Georgia College Campus Tour - 4/2/07; Youth Biz Money Skills Camp – 4/3, 4/5, 4/6, 4/7/07; and Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and Florida State University college campus tour – 4/4/07
Scholar Works volunteers with Habitat for Humanity
April 14, 2006. 8:00AM - 4:00PM. Building houses (on site construction). Must be 16 and older to participate. Please complete our volunteer form if you wish to sign up for our future volunteer opportunities with Habitat for Humanity!
